Why magnesium does not make the Earth orbit the Sun
Posted on July 6th, 2009 No commentsWell, magnesium probably does play a part in keeping Earth in its orbit, but the chemical compositions of the both the Earth and the Sun do not contain enough quantities of magnesium for it to be of significance. [1]
No, what I am getting at here is the force that keeps Earth in its orbit, GRAVITY.
GRAVITY
- If you are five years old and, more likely than not, reading this with mummy and/or daddy, all you need to know about gravity for now is that it makes things stick to the ground. Gravity is something that, unfortunately, makes a dropped ice cream fall to the floor; but it also keeps you from floating away uncontrollably if you jump up.
- If you are ten, you may know that gravity is a force, that does not only exist on Earth, but also on other planets and stars. The gravitational pull of the Moon is what gives us tides on Earth.
- If you are fifteen, and doing GCSEs if you live in England, it is time to get to grips with some equations and numbers*; but first…
The gravitational force attracts things with a mass to each other; whilst standing, the Earth pulls you towards its centre (down), although the surface (ground) prevents you from sinking in. At the same time, because you have a mass too, you are pulling the Earth towards your centre of mass as well. However, due to the fact that Earth is so much larger, you can barely notice the Earth move.
Gravitational force increases when: [2]
- the masses of the objects involved increases
- the distance between the objects decreases
This centre of mass I am talking about is, for any spherical (round) object, is essentially its centre. On an object that is not spherical, this becomes a little bit tricker, so we shall not look at it right this moment.
- If you are twenty, you will either already know all you need about the gravitational force for your field, or you will have associated yourself enough with the quantum world to completely lose interest in gravity.
As gravity increases with the object’s mass, it is the reason why you and I stick to our planet Earth, and (partially*) why the Earth stays nicely in its orbit around the massive Sun.
*The equation and numbers, as well as the explanation of “partially” be our next focus.

Tutoring in Vancouver
Posted on July 6th, 2009 No commentsAbout
My name is Gabe, and I’m a Vancouver tutor from the University of British Columbia (UBC). I’ve been a teaching assistant for several years in Vancouver, and I’ve worked as a personal tutor for students in elementary and high school. My teaching style is patient and attentive, but also demanding: I want to see my students succeed. I am goal-oriented and attentive to detail. If you want to improve your grades, increase your understanding of material, or prepare for tests, then I can help.
Philosophy
Too often, we ignore the how and why, the process of learning. Becoming more efficient in the way you organize your time, prioritize your tasks, in the way you read, write, learn, and think about material — all of this will make you a more successful learner.
In addition to subject-based tutoring, I am able to act as a coach in three core areas: communication skills (oral presentations, conversational skills), critical thinking (reading and writing summaries, reports, or research), and time management skills (scheduling, prioritizing etc). These areas form the core of effective learning. I am happy to teach the methods and techniques in these areas that I have found most useful as a successful student and academic.
Qualifications
- worked as a teaching assistant for the past two years at UBC
- this gave me the organizational skills involved in teaching - worked as a personal tutor for students in elementary and high school
- this gave me an understanding of the difficulties faced by young students - worked as a tutor for the Disability Resource Center at UBC
- this allowed me to adapt my style to students with special needs - worked as a classical piano teacher for 5 years
- this developed my ability to listen and provide useful feedback
Pricing
My introductory session is 20$ — this is for me to introduce myself, and talk about you or your child’s specific goals. I can travel to your house for the introductory session, but further sessions may require an alternate location, due to the constraints of my tutoring schedule.
Introductory Session: 20$ for 1 hour

Friction and Godliness
Posted on July 6th, 2009 No commentsWhat is friction?
“Friction is the “evil” of all motion. No matter which direction something moves in, friction pulls it the other way. Move something left, friction pulls right. Move something up, friction pulls down. It appears as if nature has given us friction to stop us from moving anything.
Friction is actually a force that appears whenever two things rub against each other. Although two objects might look smooth, microscopically, they’re very rough and jagged, as this picture shows:

As they slide against each other, their contact is anything BUT smooth. They both kind of grind and drag against each other. This is where friction comes from.”
Why am I asking about friction?
Because last night, I snapped. I thought I had learned much about self-control, gentleness and meekness. But something happened and for a second, I snapped. I went into my room feeling so defeated for not doing what I really wanted to do, which was to stay calm and quiet, but instead I gave in and let out the thunders.
I didn’t know how to approach God. I was crying for His mercy to forgive me and accept my repentance.
And through His grace, the Lord impressed upon me Romans 7.
18For I know that nothing good dwells within me, that is, in my flesh. I can will what is right, but I cannot perform it. [I have the intention and urge to do what is right, but no power to carry it out.]
19For I fail to practice the good deeds I desire to do, but the evil deeds that I do not desire to do are what I am [ever] doing.
20Now if I do what I do not desire to do, it is no longer I doing it [it is not myself that acts], but the sin [principle] which dwells within me [[c]fixed and operating in my soul].
21So I find it to be a law (rule of action of my being) that when I want to do what is right and good, evil is ever present with me and I am subject to its insistent demands.
22For I endorse and delight in the Law of God in my inmost self [with my new nature].(D)
23But I discern in my bodily members [[d]in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh] a different law (rule of action) at war against the law of my mind (my reason) and making me a prisoner to the law of sin that dwells in my bodily organs [[e]in the sensitive appetites and wills of the flesh].
24O unhappy and pitiable and wretched man that I am! Who will release and deliver me from [the shackles of] this body of death?
25O thank God! [He will!] through Jesus Christ (the Anointed One) our Lord! So then indeed I, of myself with the mind and heart, serve the Law of God, but with the flesh the law of sin.
The Lord is saying that as we move forward and desire godliness and moral purity in our lives, we shall experience friction with our carnality. The grind that pulls the other way. As we come closer and deeper to the Truth and the ways of the Spirit, we shall experience, not just the obvious grinds, but even the microscopic pulling away of the flesh.
And so my question was, “Lord, how can we overcome the friction?”
In physics theory, a pulling force must be greater than the frictional force in order to move the object.
Just like when walking; the forward force must exceed the frictional force of the floor so you can step forward. Or airplane take off, the airplane must exceed the runway’s friction in order to have a good take off.In relation to our christian journey, walking in Spirit is the greater pulling force that will allow us to move forward and pursue godliness in our lives.
We cannot continue and move on in our Christian faith without the Holy Spirit. For it is only by the Spirit that we are able to overcome carnality and all the fleshly desire. Everyday. Every hour. Every minute.
Have we been living a defeated christian life? Okay today, failure the next day? Then we must approach the throne of grace and ask for the Holy Spirit to come and rest on us to help us in our battle against flesh. He is the answer. The ONLY answer. The Holy Spirit is not just an ‘imagination’ that it is in you, you must experience Him and you will be sure in your heart that He is with you.
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus,[a] who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. 2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has made me free from the law of sin and death. Romans 8:1
May we all have the Greater Push, the Holy Spirit, to overcome our flesh.

A Glimpse into the Eye of Paradox
Posted on July 6th, 2009 No commentsOn any given day, a small handful of people find their way to the eye of paradox. Some of them probably just glance at an article to see if it’s relevant to the search that brought them here. One or two might actually read something. Once in a blue moon, someone leaves a short comment. Taken all together, I do not see anything to indicate that my words mean much. Is that frustrating? A little. I think it only bothers me because I have so much on my mind all the time, and there seems to be little or nothing I can do with it. I have to ask myself, what am I really accomplishing here? I’ve said it before, I tend to write in the hope of provoking a little thought, usually because the inspiration to write is interesting in itself. I do not expect anyone else to find the result as interesting; partly because it is hard to capture a thought perfectly in words. I am not a thousand-word-a-minute typist and yet I seem to think a million miles a minute. I am not a linear thinker. My thoughts are more like a library in a hurricane. I have never really been able to explain it, but it’s what I mean when I talk about higher-dimensions of thought. The problem with that terminology is that we would all probably assign the dimensions differently, based on the way we think. I suspect that a lot of us think things out in words as a general rule, that good old internal dialogue. I have one, but it’s only one part of how I process information.
I think that most of what I think cannot really be put into words. Seriously, I find it easier to think in worlds. Every instant my brain is processing sensory data to assemble an endless stream of consciousness that ties what I perceive in the moment with things I have perceived in the past, things I imagine, things I have conceptualized, things I have analyzed, things I have articulated, things I intuit and things I have only imagined. I have this notion that I ought to be an author because stories come to me in bursts of instantaneous thought. The problem is that it takes so long to fully articulate one I will have conceived of a thousand variations in the time it takes to block out the basics of the one I started with. The sheer number of options and variations overwhelms me. I don’t find it surprising, however. This is what our brains evolve to do; in life we only get one chance to get anything right, and there are a lot of times when a mistake will cost you your life. When faced with a challenge, we automatically engage the imagination and run through as many simulations as our intelligence and attention allow. A good view of the future requires at least seven dimensions of thought. Our base line of reference is four dimensional (working in three spatial dimensions and one temporal dimension) and we have to be able to project that image forward to assess the consequences of our actions through to positive, neutral and negative outcomes.
The future is not on a straight line. Neither is the past, really. An individual has no problem seeing history as a line running back through events, but there is such a line for every person and every object involved in every interaction. The past that we perceive is not the only past. For any given instant, there is a conceivable alternate path leading up to it, though usually the only people who are aware of this are people involved in reconstructing events. To a lesser degree, anyone who mulls over the days of their lives will notice the variable paths within the repeating cycle. You can stop, while walking down the street and suddenly put yourself on the other side of the street in some memory. It is one of the reasons we like routine. The more times we go through a sphere of activity, the better we understand the possibilities of acting in that sphere. We use it to maintain a hypersphere of potential activity. We use something similar in the mastery of our own bodies. At any given moment, there is only one position we can be in, but we are aware of all the positions we can move to just in the limits of our own bodies. In a sense, you could say that this is the real difference between the physical nature of something and the spiritual nature. We can only ever see one instance of an object, but that one instance contains the potential of every instance of that object. When you can look at an old man and see the little boy he once was, that is a very spiritual perception.
The funny thing is that we have run into this same thing in quantum physics theory, the notion that things have potential that exceeds what can be manifested at any given point. In the mind, we can hold onto everything at once, seeing nothing but aware of it all, and pull whatever we want into focus in an instant. I really don’t find it surprising that reality is pretty much the same way. We work constantly to bring the world into focus, we are in a constant process of realization, learning about changes in the world and updating our own internal representation accordingly. This is how we maintain our grip on the universe, and also how the universe maintains its grip on us. Or, this is how we maintain our grip on ourselves. This is a good spot to focus on if you take the question “who am I?” seriously enough. This is where I ended up after years of asking that question in an attempt to determine if it was who I am or what I am that makes me “me”. I came to the same conclusion the characters in the Matrix did, the body cannot live without the mind. Perhaps that is an indication of gestalt consciousness, an indication that the mind is more than the sum of the body’s parts? I am still thinking on that. In the meantime, while I find myself in the universe’s grip, there is an omniverse of information in my grip. I am holding the universe in a firm mental grip, but at the same time I am holding on to many, many more in my thoughts. Of course, I might just be apprehending the possibilities of the universe that would be found in higher dimensions.
What kind of sense organ would be able to perceive higher dimensions? I do it in my mind constantly, so I would be inclined to say the brain is that sense organ, as I rush along in the wake of intuition, chased by thoughts of perception being our key to acting in our environment. I grasp all of the implications of movement in higher dimensions of space and time and cannot keep up with the possibilities that seem to open themselves up. I am riding on an epiphany, a realization of a universe that contains infinite potential. What kind of words could begin to describe it? I struggle to find them, even now. I struggle to find the time to think things through enough to achieve a less dizzying perspective. This is my true field of study, and all I can do is stand at the threshold and stare into it longingly. The irony is, we’re all at this threshold. It’s kind of like the best kept secret, because it’s hidden in plain sight. I think the only reason I noticed it is because I am too.

Film: The AntiChrist Dajjal will be a Reptilian Shapeshifter (Random Selection — 2)
Posted on July 6th, 2009 No commentsBabylon the slut in the Bible, America is called an adulteress in Prophet Muhammad’s (peace on him) sayings in this film.
In an Adam Sandler movie he plays the Anti-Christ and is made to appear totally innocent.
Notice that the Dajjal is all Satan, 100 percent Satan. Whatever God opposes, it is Satan’s job to convince you to accept that as your way of life. The Masons work like a huge corporation with a spider web across the globe to sell Satan’s religion. Because people like models, something to look up to, he proposes Sun worship. (Evil Djinns outside of our Solar System must be equally ’shocked’ by Freemason stupidity).
Nowadays the word Nazi means everything bad in Germany, yet Germans are still 100 percent Nazis. Only the word was banned, their symbol is still used; moreover, NASA is using 75% of their name now for UFO politics. Shapeshifting.
The United Nations is also completely Zionist, it seems. Zionism is another name for Nazism. Shapeshifting.
So everything that the Masons are doing in our world today ends in Jerusalem — that’s the center of the Templar story, that’s where they found books of magic that Solomon had snatched from the Djinns and hidden away. Satanism works as an illusion, it’s magical, that’s the Pharaoh’s kingdom.
Submarines for communication with aliens? Or are they run by aliens? Water is a medium between alien life and human beings. Moses crossed the sea with his people, the Pharaoh drowned. When Jesus returns he’s got water dripping from his head, according to Prophet Muhammad, peace on him. Shapeshifting. Not because Jesus is reptilian; rather, all of these technologies are owned by Allah, so are all symbols. He’s all-encompassing and all-knowing. (Water is how the fourth dimension looks).

Posted on July 6th, 2009 No comments
Alburger, G. Harbottle, E.F. Norton, “Half-life of 32Si,” Earth and Planetary Science Letters 78: 168-176, June 1986.
El artículo técnico es Jere H. Jenkins, Ephraim Fischbach, John B. Buncher, John T. Gruenwald, Dennis E. Krause, Joshua J. Mattes, “Evidence of correlations between nuclear decay rates and Earth–Sun distance,” Astroparticle physics theory, In Press, Available online 30 May 2009.
Semkow et al. “Oscillations in radioactive exponential decay,” physics theory Letters B 675: 415-419, 25 May 2009.

Purity and Usefulness

The intricately partitioned microcosm of science and technology seems to have been partitioned into hierarchies. Many a time have I heard one comparing fields of study, correlating and comparing them based on which field precedes the other, or which field demonstrates a more fundamental nature. It may then seem that the fields of science can actually be placed on a definite hierarchy, where one would envision each layer to be simply a functional derivative of the previous layer.Yet, we know that each field demonstrates its own diverse nature; some concepts within the field of study are endemic to certain concepts, and inadequately reflected in another. Why, then, can one field argue precedence over another?Similarly, the pyramid of derivatives can be inverted. One may proclaim: “All useful math is physics theory!”, and yet another “All useful Psychology is Sociology!”. Evidently, a wider encompassing nature may be seen as irrelevance, for not all progresses in these fields have direct applications to that of the lives of the human population. Granted, there have been breakthroughs from each field, yet, it is known that a large majority (some might claim up to 99%) of mathematics theorems do not have a functional use. How useful is it to know that there are 13 440 ways to arrange 5 people in a table for 8, or that the Birkhoff Theorem demonstrates a close connection with space-time? It may seem, then, that each subsequent step up the ladder of relevance focuses on a less general, but more useful concept. One might argue, based on the “fundamental distribution of sciences”, that each step up the relevance ladder is essentially a reinstatement of the previous step; each level is completely derived from the previous. Granted, quantum chemistry is essentially generalized physics theory, but it serves a more specific role. I thereby posit the distinguishing factor that divides two strata, one seemingly fundamentally related to the other. The purist would claim that mathematics is the language of the universe, only to be shot down by the metaphysicist seconds later. However, while I concede that each field up the ladder is a proper subset of the preceding step, it may be seen that each step establishes its own set of assumptions that define it as such.Chemistry (in general) considers large scale changes and quantities, unconcerned with the insignificant quantum fluctuations that govern the smallest scales. (Yes, I do understand that quantum tunneling is, too, a fundamental process in high energy chemistry, but shall we leave the areas that straddle two strata to later?) Biology studies an even larger scale, looking at multiple complex series of processes instead. Each field considers a specialized case of the preceding field, leaving the remainder of the previous field ignored due to irrelevance. In both cases, both fields are equally right and valid, the only difference being that one is a generalization of the previous. This, however, does not deny the potential of each field towards great accomplishments. With the simplifying assumptions created from each preceding field taken into consideration, an efficient means of problem-solving is thereby provided. A psychologist need not take a multivariable calculus course in order to read psychology, even though it characterizes the space around him; such a notion would be preposterous. Yet, it is undeniable that such concepts do have a small, very nearly insignificant, but finite role in his workplace. (It might be interesting to consider the role of quantum physics theory in psychology here. Recently, the notion that consciousness, a highly debatable concept, is stored in multi-dimensional space-time of Planck length has arisen. This is indeed an interesting exception, a direct linkage between fields so widely separated, which might suggest that things are more interconnected than we think they are)The fields of science can be seen as a continuum, with specialization on one side, and generalization on the other. There are no definite markers that delimit each field (sans assumptions made, as these simplifying assumptions vary even within a field). Each concept has links to other areas, characterizes something within its field of influence, and yet, is bound tightly to other related concepts. We cannot deny the relevance of each field of study, given that it is capable of a finite influence on a related field. Each field is unique, and yet simultaneously not unique.
